Chilli beef

  • Three to four large cloves of garlic
  • One onion
  • One Sweet pepper
  • 400g Canned chopped tomatoes
  • 400g Kidney beans
  • 500g Minced beef
  • Cumin
  • Paprika
  • Chilli flakes
  • Beef stock cube
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

Chop garlic, pepper and onion finely and fry in 2 desert spoons of olive oil. When these are soft, add beef and fry on a high heat till the beef changes colour. Add chilli flakes then one shallow desert spoon of Paprika and another of Cumin. Add salt & ground black pepper. Add tomatoes and kidney beans. Simmer on a low heat for an hour.
